The 1805 Aftershave Balm is a rich, soothing moisturiser that contains lanolin and aloe vera extract, scented with the 1805 bouquet.

Suitable for all skin types and specially formulated for gentlemen with sensitive skin.

Apply a small amount of the aftershave balm into hands and massage into the face and neck area after shaving.

The 1805 scent: A fresh oceanic fragrance with top notes of Bergamot, Mandarin and Cardamon, combined with a Lavender, Geranium and Clary Sage heart resting on a Sandalwood, Cedar Wood and Musk base.

A refreshing, effervescent and zesty fragrance, in which lively top notes of exotic lime and bergamot are combined with a heart of lilac, lavender and rose, and an orange blossom base.

This is where is all started

An excellent aftershave balm with a luxurious scent. A great follow-up to the matching hard soap. Combine these two and you have truly experienced luxurious shave. The accompanying cologne will take it to another level.

Dispenser Lacking

Love the balm and have used it since 2014. I rate the balm itself 5 stars. But as another review mentioned, the dispenser stops working when there is about a third of the product remaining. So I end up throwing it out. Seems very wasteful and obviously I’m not getting everything for which I’ve paid. Maybe a squeeze tube approach would be more cost effective. So overall I can only rate the product three stars due to the design deficiency of the dispenser.

Love the fragrances miss the splash.

I really love West Indian limes and 1805; my favourites. I do miss the aftershave splash, which I prefer to the balm since it is more of an astringent. I have a quarter bottle of 1805 left I’ve had for five years I’ve been rationing. Will continue with the balms after that is finished.

Miss the Splash

I truly miss the aftershave splash version of 1805. It was a great way to start the morning; crisp and clean. The balm goes on oily and I feel like I have to re-shower. Love the scent, just not the delivery system.

Thank you for your feedback. We will pass along to London re splash; however, this was discontinued due to lack of worldwide demand. The Balm should not be oily in its application but a non-oily or greasy moisturizer which will replenish your skin as opposed to the splash which dried the skin out. The Aftershave Balm was always a complement to the splash and meant to be applied after the splash.
